If I Had $1,000.00

If i had that much money, i would buy me a laptop (because i might need it to look up pics for an art project and to put my music on there. I would buy a whole bunch of games (video games)because i love video games. Then i would buy me a basketball rim for the backyard, (so i could lower the rim and dunk all i want, ha ha), or have my friends come back there and play with me. And the rest i would go to bank and put it in my savings account, for a rainy day, or if something else that i might need that i important, or give some to mom if she needed some or my brother. i always know how to manage my money very money.

How to deal with Depression

Depression, to me is not just one definition, because it could happen in many different ways, and it causes so many things to happen. For example it could make a person not want to do the things that they usually do, it could make a person feel bad about themselves(low self-esteem). Or even worst, suicide. Many things can be responsible for depression, like, losing the championship, or your lover cheats on you, or you get laid off work, with mouths to feed. But their are many things people could do to cope with this problem. You could take a vacation, go see the world, or you could be around people that make you laugh, or even pick up a new hobby, like, drawing, sports, (playing the game is one of my favorite), or just throw on your headphones and walk around outside. The main thing is not thinking about the problem, and staying active, try to keep your mind off of whatever happened in the past.

From Good to Bad

An event that happend to me was when i hurt my leg playing football. It was the worst thing that has happened to me in my life, so far. I could not play basketball my senior year, my grades were falling, things at home we worst than ever. I was just so depressed, i began pushing people away from me, and i felt like i was all alone, during that time. But during this whole situation, i did get a little something out of it. I read books, while i was healing, i learned interesting this on the computer, like how to use certain tools when typing a paper, and found a lot of scholarship, and job websites that has really helped. And i had learned how to walk all over again. The reason i said that is because people take simple things for granted, like walking, or whatever, until it is taken away from you. Im back on my feet now, but not 100%, im really glad i got to come back as quick as i did. My grades are as good as new. Im just glad the situation was not as bad as it could of been. I've learned that football is not my sport(ha ha),so i've been told.

This semester im going to work harder than the last because i barely past one of my class(and it was an important class) so last marking period was just a wake up call for, telling me to get my stuff together. Basically, my main goal is to get all A's this 3rd and 4th quarter, and another is to try and get a scholarship for some type of money.

Winter Break/New Years Resolutions

Most of the time I was rehabing on my knee, so that i would be able to come back to school on time because i have spent so much time off, and plus i was ready to come back, becuase it was so boring sitting in the house, not able to do anything . For Christmas, i spent time with my family at my grandma house, we ate, we talked, we laughed, and we watched the Celtics vs the Lakers, my team lost(the Celtics) but it's cool we still number one. I got to see some of my cusins that i have not seen in years, that was great. After we left my grandma's house, we all went to the movies and saw "Yes Man", it was funny. After that we drove around just goofing off and playing, and then we went home. For new years i stayed in the house and watched movies and played the game with my girl we had fun, then i went out with my friends and we were just playing around as usual, and went to my friend's house for a little gathering, it was fun. My New years resolution is to graduate on time, go to college, stay healthy, and in shape, and be more open to try new things.

BAD NEWS

What is the real definition of bad news? Well, to me it's a sickness with plenty of symptoms, such as your lover having an affair, being rejected from a school that you desire to go to, a loved one that dies, etc. Most of the time this sickness can hurt a person so much, that it can make a person so depress that they would do anything(even things that they never did before) to make that sickness go away. But the true question is "What is the right cure for a sickness like bad news?" How do you deal with bad news?

My Brave Moment

The Bravest thing that have ever done was when i was younger and I stood up agaisnt my uncle when he tried to beat my brother. He wanted to beat him because he was crying of a sprained wrist, so I tried to protect him and took him out the house and my older cousin took us away from the house where my uncle was at. I never saw my uncle again, but I saved my brother.
